Photography, video and audio recording policy

The following policy applies to all persons present at the conference, regardless of capacity in which they are attending. AVfM Education, LLC reserves the right to change or modify any policy or rule at any time and without notice.

AVfM Education, LLC reserves the right to revoke, without refund, the badge of any person not in compliance with this policy.

This policy refers to any means of photography, video and audio recording including but not limited to the unauthorized use of cameras or video recorders, cell phones, voice recorders and any other such equipment by any person attending the conference in any  capacity.

It reaffirms the clauses on the Attendee Policy and the Press and Media Policy to which every person present at the conference is deemed to have agreed by acceptance of their badge (conference pass).

The badge contains the following summary of this policy:

Audio, video recording & filming of the conference proceedings, speakers, panelists and audience are forbidden except by special permit. You will be asked to leave and your license revoked if you are caught doing so without authorization.

Within the conference hall, a still photograph of the speaker on stage may be taken but photographs of individual attendees or the general audience are expressly forbidden.

Nobody is allowed to film the entire talk or the entire conference except by express permission and the issuing of a documentary maker license in advance of the conference.

Anyone seen taking more than a still photo of a speaker on the stage will be reminded of the clauses of the attendee, press and media policy, the summary of which is shown on the back of their badge. If the offender persists in dis-regarding the policy, the badge will be revoked and they will be asked to leave the conference premises.

Photographs of individual attendees outside the conference hall, whether by other attendees, press or media, may be taken if express permission has been given by the attendee.

Members of the press and media are permitted to use still photography, voice recorders and gather video of proceedings at the press conference on the Friday, not at the main conference on Saturday and Sunday, nor at meals or any other ancillary events.
